Personal Trainer Glasgow – Find out why you should use a personal trainer from Workout at home.

There are many Glaswegian’s that have thought about improving their health and fitness levels by going to the gym and there are many of those in Glasgow, however they are not necessarily easy to use or accessible and certainly not suitable for everyone. An alternative is to source a personal trainer.

Personal trainers can be extremely effective in guiding you through your own personal training programme by encouraging and advising you throughout your training. At Workout at home, we go a step further by offering you a local personal trainer to come to you in your own home or any location that suits you. Imagine not having to fit your training around the opening times of a gym or arranging transport to get there or childcare whilst you are there. We can come to you at a time that suits you.

Our personal trainers will provide a free consultation. All you need to do is give us a call and we will arrange to come and meet at a time that suits you.

The Personal Trainer Search facility will tell you who is available in your area and it also enables you to find out about a little bit more information about them before your free initial consultation, for example their working hours and their qualifications.

Before we design you any training programme we will give you a full health assessment which provides a good starting point and a benchmark for you to measure your progress against. A series of tests will be carried out including; blood pressure and resting heart rate, flexibility, body composition tests, peak expiratory volume and waist and hip measurements. You will then be given a report with explanations of all the measurements and your personal trainer will be able to discuss these with you as well as establish your goals and what you want to get out of personal training. In order to make sure you are on the best regime possible for you, on-going health assessments are available for you to review your progress.

Our professional services at Workout at home are designed to cater for varying fitness needs no matter what your age or fitness level. You might want to tone up, lose weight or have a particular medical concern. For example, coronary heart disease (CHD) affects an estimated 3.5% of the Scottish population and the prevalence is particularly high in East Glasgow. The NHS recommends several ways to prevent CHD including eating a healthy, balanced diet, being more physically active and keeping to a healthy weight. Your personal trainer can help you with these preventative measures whether CHD is a concern or not.

In Glasgow, our personal trainers have access to our home fitness system which means they have access to an exercise library of over 500 exercises specifically designed for use in the home as well as information on various health issues and nutrition. All this information can also be accessed by you in your very own online support system.

If you are concerned about space in your home or actually what type of exercise you can do, you do not need to be. Any necessary equipment will be brought to your home by your personal trainer. We have found the most effective and enjoyable training equipment for you to use in your own home. Read our testimonials to find out how Workout at home has worked for other people including Kim Bevan who is lost more than 90 pounds with Workout at home or Rob Jenkins who has lost just over 80 pounds.
